European cooperation is at the heart of the logic of European construction and is an integral part of the “Cantal Europe” departmental policy. It meets the objectives of:
- Finding common solutions to common challenges across borders
- Promote the creation of partnerships between public and/or private actors from several European States
- Better respond to the shared needs of populations and businesses
- Improving the quality of life of citizens of the European Union
- Strengthen the feeling of European citizenship
This is why the Department of Cantal invests in European cooperation by developing links with its European partners and integrating the various networks to promote Cantal and pool efforts to meet the challenges ahead
